  • Registration of new projects, Environmental Implication Study (EIS) Revenue recoding, coordination of training, workshops, conferences, seminars, EIS Budget and the Site Verification of new projects;
  • Coordination of the implementation of green economy for sustainable development in the State;
  • Coordination of all multilateral and bilateral matters such as conference on sustainable development (CSD), African Ministerial conference on Environment (AMCEN), UNGA, etc;
  • Collection, Collation, Analysis, Interpretation and Publication of Information for Policy Making;

  • Legislative Drafting; and
  • Technical Design.

  • Establishment and Maintenance of the Agencies’ Electronic Database;
  • Computerize the activities of the Agency for an efficient Management Information System;
  • Collecting User requirements and initiating ideas for Software Development; Recommendation of Information System Gadgets and Services; and Sales of Statistical Publication.
Media Division
  • Relationship Management with print and Electronic Media:
  • Media Exposure in Print and Electronic Media;
  • Coverage of Events and Activities;
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Public Display; and
  • Maintaining Photo and Video Archives.
