The Department is headed by a Director. The department of Administration and Supplies is saddled with the coordination of day to day activities of Ministry of Environment. The functions of the departments include:
Co-ordinate the activities of other department
Serve as the chairman of the junior staff management committee.
Junior staff recruitment, promotion and discipline.
Collaborate with other department in the preparation of annual budget proposals.

Make local purchase of approved materials and equipment.
Conduct stock taking and stock keeping in the store.
Collaborate with the bureau of establishments and training to organize workshops and seminars on environmental matters.
Organize in-house training for members of staff of the ministry particularly the junior staff.
