DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPLIES

The Department is headed by a Director. The department of Administration and Supplies is saddled with the coordination of day to day activities of Ministry of Environment. The functions of the departments include:

  • Co-ordinate the activities of other department
  • Serve as the chairman of the junior staff management committee.
  • Junior staff recruitment, promotion and discipline.
  • Collaborate with other department in the preparation of annual budget proposals.
  • service of management, ministerial and department tenders board meeting
  • Make local purchase of approved materials and equipment.
  • Conduct stock taking and stock keeping in the store.
  • Collaborate with the bureau of establishments and training to organize workshops and seminars on environmental matters.
  • Organize in-house training for members of staff of the ministry particularly the junior staff.
